DIANNE
IN HANNAH

Thinker, writer, poet, reader, editor, storyteller, author

Hi! Thanks for scrolling by! I've been creating stories and such since Mrs. Jordan's sixth grade class at Greenwood Elementary School, Florence, S.C. A graduate of the University of Alaska, Anchorage, I am a former editor and journalist. I routinely told other people's stories and wrote about the people, places and events in rural South Carolina. I now write about family, friends, nature and life. I love capturing life with words and images. I live in the Hannah community along the Lynches River. I travel, record what I see, hear, smell, taste, and do.

In September 2019, I published my first book, "Gathering, Homespun Essays from Beech Tree Lane." In spite of a world-wide pandemic, or maybe because of it, in October 2020 I published "Cultivating, Homespun Essays from Beech Tree Lane." The first book was about the art of getting together in subcultures. The second about what we create and care about in our lives.

If all goes well, look for "Refining" soon, hopefully, maybe ...
